We have the experience of chemical cleaning of condenser tubes in conventional
cleaning as well as a special method developed by us in various power projects
upto 660 MW.
FEATURES
Recently, Chemical Cleaning and Borescope of U#4 condenser of 4×600MW
condenser have successfully been executed at Vedanta, IPP, Jharsuguda under M/s
Steag Energy Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. A few months ago, identical job have
successfully executed of U#1, 600MW condenser LP & HP separately at the same
premises under M/s Steag.
We have successfully done chemical cleaning followed by hydro jetting of U#2, 3 & 1
of 4×600MW condenser at Vedanta IPP, Jharsuguda under M/s Powermech
Projects Ltd.
U#5, U#3 & U#4 of 120 MW condenser at Tata Power - Jojobera with the special
method. Also with our tailor made special method has been successfully used in
various projects like Vedanta Lanjigarh – 1×30 MW under M/s Steag and
2×30MW directly under M/s Vedanta, 1×30MW Tata Steel (Erstwhile Usha
Martin–Jamshedpur) and to name a few.
During full lockdown condition in May-June’2020, we have successfully executed chemical
cleaning followed by HP jetting of a heavily fouled condenser of 110 MW capacity at NTPCBarauni Thermal Power.
In conventional method, we have successfully executed jobs for chemical cleaning
followed by hydro jet cleaning of Unit#4 & 5 of 2×660 MW condenser cleaning at
NTPC–Barh STPP. And successfully cleaned chemical cleaning followed by bullet shot
method of U#2 & U#5, 660MW condenser having about 36,000 No. tubes at Reliance–
Sasan UMPP.
Previously, successfully executed 67.5 MW, Unit#1 and 120 MW, Unit#3, 4 & 5
condensers by inhibited Sulphamic acid method at Tata Power Ltd., Jojobera and various
condensers at PH#3 & 4 of CPP - TISCO. We have also cleaned 10 x 210 MW Condensers
of Unit # 1, 2, 3, 4 and 2 x 250 MW at Mejia TPS, 3 x 210 MW Condensers of Unit # 4 at
Durgapur TPS, 7 x 140 MW Unit # 1, 2 & 3 condensers at Chandrapura TPS of M/s DVC
with inhibited Sulphamic acid, followed by high pressure water jetting operation. 1 x 210
MW Unit # 1 Condenser at IB TPS of OPGCL, Jharsuguda - Odisha by means of
Sulphamic acid. 1 x 250MW and 4x120 MW condensers at Santaldih TPS and 300 MW
Unit # 1 & 2 Condenser at Sagardighi Thermal Power Project of M/S. WBPDCL have been
cleaned by Sulphamic acid method. Besides 500 MW Condenser U #3 at NTPC Simhadri
Super Thermal Power Project with inhibited Sulphamic acid, followed by high pressure
water jetting & bullet cleaning operation, 500 MW Condenser U#6 at NTPC Farakka Super
Thermal Power Station.
